Let Women Lead
AWARE set up Let Women Lead prior to the 2022 National Elections to ensure that deserving female candidates will be represented and funded for. The initiative ended up supporting presidential candidate Leni Robredo and senatorial candidates Riza Hontiveros and Leila de Lima. Let Women Lead will continue to raise funds and support deserving female candidates in future elections.
Salamat PNoy
To commemorate the first death anniversary of President Benigno S. Aquino III on June 24 2022, AWARE published the Salamat PNoy: A Tribute to the 15th President of the Republic of the Philippines ebook. The book has two volumes; the first is a compilation of testimonies from around the world and people from all walks of life, hailing the accomplishments of PNoy and how these impacted the lives of Filipinos, and the second volume consists of memories of PNoy from his family, friends, and his staff in Malacanang. What emerges is an intimate portrait of a man who borea burden few people from his generation had to carry – a burden he bore with dignity.
